This remanufactured MOPAR 5.7 HEMI 345 CI engine is designed for 2003–2008 Dodge, Chrysler and Jeep vehicles without MDS and without EGR. Built by United Engine (since 1978), it includes fully remanufactured components and requires a $600 core deposit with VIN before shipping. The rebuildable core must be returned within 30 days to receive the core refund. Shipping is available to a business address with a loading dock or forklift in the lower 48 states.

Engine Features & Upgrades

This 5.7 HEMI rebuild includes 100% new pressed-in and pinned valve seats, preventing dropped seats and engine damage. A newly engineered piston design eliminates the oil-sludge issue by stabilizing combustion chamber temperature. Updated timing chain guides and tensioners prevent common failures, while MLS multi-layer steel head gaskets stop premature head-gasket issues under high-heat conditions. The intake manifold must be replaced as per Chrysler’s requirement to protect the new engine and avoid warranty void.

Warranty, Requirements & Core Policy

Each long block is assembled with cylinder heads, valve train, lifters, camshaft, timing components, bearings, pistons and oil pump. All major parts—including blocks, heads, crankshafts and connecting rods—are cleaned, shot-peened, magnafluxed and inspected. Cylinder heads receive three-angle seat cuts and vacuum testing. Crankshafts are ground and polished, and connecting rods are honed and resized to OEM specifications. This remanufactured long block meets or exceeds OEM standards and includes a 1-year unlimited-mileage warranty. A matching core must be returned within 30 days for core credit.

Passenger car and light truck long blocks are covered for 1 years or unlimited miles (Parts Only). If failure of a long block should occur during the first twelve months and it is determined the failure is due to a defect in workmanship or parts installed by united engine will replace or repair the defective unit to the original buyer.
